40 Days of Prayer.
I am so thankful that you have chosen to join us on this journey. Over the next 40 days we are going to be looking at God’s Word and letting it guide our prayer. We believe that God has big things in store for SBC. God is going to use these next 40 days to challenge us and lead us to be a more faithful church. I hope that you will be prayerful and pray for big things!
Read: Acts 11
I truly hope that these pray emails are beneficial to you. I know that many of you are at home and trying to keep children busy and doing a lot. We’ve said it over and over the church is not the building but the people. I want to ask you how are you doing in checking on your brothers and sisters in Christ? I really want to emphasize that there are many out there that do not have family close and they need your support. My family has been trying to be creative in how we show love to folks, but I promise you that a simple phone call or text will be great.
In Acts 11 we meet Barnabas. He is the true encourager. He made sure to encourage people to stay true to their faith. He encouraged them to give people second chances, to show love, to show grace, to uplift others. I can tell you that we need more Barnabas people in our lives. In our world today we need more encouragement. We need to be encouragers to one another. Why don’t you respond to this email on how you’re encouraging one another!
